Duties & Responsibilities
- Overseeing the safety of County employees by; planning, implementing & monitoring safety and training programs.
- Investigate and assess employee accidents & injuries.
- Ensure compliance with DEC, MSHA, PESH & OSHA standards and other State and Federal safety regulations.
- Enforcement of all NYS Building Codes & all local regulations pertaining to zoning laws.
- He is a NYS Codes enforcement officer for Essex County owned buildings an properties.
- Building Inspector of all County owned buildings & properties.
